about

STILL

Can you hear silence? When is sound becoming silence? Is it possible to draw attention to something that is not there?

STILL let you hear slow-moving and shifting sounds in minimal melodies. The sounds and notes are becoming scarce and leave more room for silence. In the end, after one hour, the silence is complete.

The artwork from STILL is a photo project by Wilma van de Hel called 'Jan 2001'. STILL was used as ambient music during an exposition of the photo's in Amsterdam in 2001.
